Food
So there are many reviews on burrp really loving this place and I was looking forward to having dinner here one day. I don't know if it was the hype or the kinda of cuisine I was expecting that let me down. To start with, since it's called a cafe, I was expecting some sandwiches, salads, some continental dishes with mashed potatoes on the side and pastas. From that list, I could see were pastas. They're a usual Indian and Chinese restaurant that is just called a cafe because somebody felt like doing that. I don't think I even saw coffees on the menu.

So we ordered for one conti dish on the menu (it said conti in brackets!) that was called Pepper chicken or something similar. Now what would you expect if you call for conti pepper chicken? I was expecting checken either grilled or sauteed with pepper sauce. Nope. We got a red colored chinese dish that tasted like Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce. We called the chef who told us that since it's a conti dish, pepper meant red peppers (like the capsicum). But it was not conti! It was chinese!!!! We then ordered for an Indian Kalmi Kabab which was extremely good. For main course, the chef (who is also the manager) recommended a Chicken Mongolian Rice which was good, but again, chinese isn't cafe food!

Menu variety
Good for Indian and Chinese. I detest the fact that it is called a cafe though, since they don't serve any food that cafe's should serve. Only beverages available are water, cold drinks and fresh lime soda. Too little.

Service
The waiter could not understand what we were saying. Even after we pointed to the item on the menu. He was really very, very stupid.

Ambience
There is absolutely nothing good about the ambience. I hated the music they were playing. Boy-bandish songs that we used to listen to when we didn't know any better.

Value for Money
This place has good VFM. I was just expecting a little Italian cuisine and so I was caught off guard when I saw the menu. But if you're in the moods for Chinese and Indian, seems like a good comfortable meal.

Location
Andheri East. So always good if you're working at J.B. Nagar or close by. Make a trip.

And in conclusion...
I think it's a good place to go to for lunch breaks at work. But nothing uniquely impressive here.
