Food
TGIF has the best steaks I've ever had in Mumbai. It's always done just the way you want it - they will never give you a medium if you wanted it rare. It's always perfect. From 5:30 to 8:30 pm, TGIF has happy hours - one drink free with every drink on domestic liquor - so it's the best time to catch up with friends. They also have a special happy hours menu which has amazing Southwest Potato Twister (try it with chicken...lip smacking!). Also try TGIF's blue cheese dip - it is the most divine cheese dip you would ever have had. I'm drooling just thinking of it!

For the main course, try their steaks if you eat beef. If not, they have a multitude of chicken, lamb and seafood dishes to choose from. Personally, I avoid anything with barbecue sauce coz it just gets too sweet. Items here cooked with balsamic vinegar also end up being a little too sweet. Instead, go for dishes with their signature Jack Daniel's glaze. If you're going for pork, they have two options - Indian or international pork. The international one is more expensive, but also much softer and with a better texture.

Menu Variety
There are more than enough items to make every body happy. Right from tacos to grills to salads to steak to desserts. Could have just done with a few more risotto dishes I guess. Here's their menu - http://www.tgifindia.com/foodMenu.aspx?res=F

Service
Service at TGIF varies depending on the crowd. I have personally not had any bad experiences here, but my parents and their friends had to once wait for ages for someone to take their order. In another case, my friend was there once when they took more than 30 minutes to get only the mocktails. When they complained, however, they got free mocktails and desserts! So complain, and you shall be taken care of!

Ambience
I love the ambience here! It's fun, for a good time with friends! The walls have a lot of fun posters (my favorite one says " Hippies use side door") and it basically says to you, "Drink, motherf***er, drink!"

Value for Money
It is expensive. I see a lot of kids coming her too. But when I was 20, I wouldn't be able to afford it. But as a working professional who spends more than half her salary on food and drinks, I won't think twice about coming here. It's one of my favorite places to hang out at!

Location
Bang in the middle of everything happening. At Lokhandwala. If there's no place, you can always shift to Red Box next door!

And in conclusion...
It's the perfect place to go to after watching an afternoon movie at Cinemax at Infinity Mall! Or after buying a few books from Landmark. Or whenever you feel like having steak. Or whenever you want to have a few beers and listen to good music. Or whenever!
